I need help ready to give up. Carb questions.

I have a 82 Yota Pick Up. I did a carb swap from stock to Weber 32/36. The Weber came off of an Isuzu Pup i own at one time. My truck will start and idle perfect also drive good at slow speeds. Once I accelerate and running higher RPMs it acts like it is starving for fuel. It spits and spudder and will die if I don't let off the pedal. It also will back fire from time to time. I feel like it is getting enough fuel I have an electric fuel pump on the truck, New fuel filter. I'm starting to wonder if it may be a weak coil or something in the firing. Not sure. My other thought is maybe the carb is not jetted big enogh coming off the isuzu. Any suggestion will be helpfull. I am about ready to put the Stock carb back on and deal with it. Stock carb is wore out nothing works.

Do you have a fuel pressure gauge? The weber is supposed to have 3.5 psi of fuel pressure going to the carb, not enough will cause those types of problems.

I don't remember exact size of Isuzu motor. It was a small 4 cyl. I don't have a fuel pressure gauge but the stock carb did fine with the electric fuel pump. If I am correct it take more the 3.5psi.
