There is this nifty new/newer invention that they have out that will stop things like that happening....


GLOVES...Hmmmmm just a thought. An Alaskein without gloves...who would have thought it.

No they show the right curves they are just opposite from what were used to.

no, there is just no women in Alaska, most of the people here don't wear parkas, thats only in the arctic villages. Gloves dont work so well with cold steel and when ya cannot reach that damn thing.

I know what you mean, Tristan. October '08 I had to change the radiator in my p/u at -25.

What happened to your garage though?

it couldnt move it into the shop and if i work on it i have no space to stand.

I changed the heater core on my wife's Corsica a few years ago in an unheated Kenai peninsula garage at ~-20. I feel your pain.

In January here, 25 will be a heat wave! Last February in a 10 days time we went from -50 to +40 and back down to -30.

I sometimes have trouble with my 89 4runner starting when it's -5 C. it won't turn the starter at first, but no matter how cold it gets it always starts though. my 07 Ranger started in -45 C with no block heater, it screamed for a bit though. and as soon as a turned my heater on my windshield cracked straight across. haha. Ford leases...because you'll get tired of them in a few years and hope the dealership will take the damn thing back.

Ive gotten in mine at -20C and she started right up. Idled nice and high for quite some time tho.

I hate sweeping off a ft of snow from my truck everytime I wanna go somewhere in the winter haha!
