i have engine noise..why?

So i put a new deck and amp in my truck,
I mounted the amp under the seat.
everything is fine, till i start it up, and then i hear engine noise.
I grounded the amp on the on the bolt that is used to bolt down the seat.
I tried different places but still get engine noise

Any help

also how do some one you guys have your system set up with subs behind your seat

thanks

the noise is probably coming from your power cable or the RCA cables. You might need a ground loop isolator. They are an easy fix for the whining noise. Do you have your power cable running next to your RCA's? If you do this and don't have good cables the same thing can happen.

I have my rca cable on the drivers side, and power on the passenger side,
I did try the group isolator, but it muted the sound
i would turn the system up all the way but could barely hear it and when i unplug one of the rca's then it sounds right

Check all your grounds: headunit, amps, battery all of them make sure they are in good shape. the gound on my headunit plug wasnt very good so i grounded it out to a bracket insteal of going into the harness and this fixed my noise issues.

it snot the head unit because if i eliminate the amp, and connect my speaker to the deck, there is no engine noise
so its the ground on the amp, i just don't know where else can i ground it

may be doing that because your factory body grounds are not getting a good gound. try cleaning them.

YOU CAN STILL HAVE A GRROUND PROBLEM WIYH YOUR HEAD UNIT BECAUSE THE PREOUT IS A SEPERATE CIRCUIT FROM (INSIDE) THAN YOUR SPEAKER AMP. i HAD THE SAME PROBLEM AND FOUND THAT WHEN i REPLACED THE GROUND TO MY HEAD UNIT IT REMOVED THIS PROBLEM.

did you run your power wire by any of the ignition parts? double check that you didn't . what about you RTO(remote turn on) going to the amp.? did you run that with the rca's? if you did run it with your power wire. also make sure you don't have any paint or rust under your ground .
