How was your guys alingment after 1.5" BJ lift
Because mine sucked, even when i took it in for an alingment they said that it was in such bad shape that if they did an alingment it would just get unlinged, and refused to do an alingment on my truck.

Mine was off bc I kept thinking I had the torsion bars at the right height, and then they would settle. I ended up finally going to firestone for the lifetime alignment, they did fine and it's the cost of 2 alignments.

You need to set the torsions (and never touch them again) then have a DIFFERENT shop align it.
Somethin tells me you have yours cranked pretty far. Theres a point when you can no longer get zero camber if they're turned to far with BJ spacers. The torsions directly effect camber with the spacers

Mine is horrible, had to turn down a camping trip this weekend because it's so bad
I did 2 inch BJ spacers though, and I need to adjust my TB's as well, passenger side settled more than the drivers side, I'm not doing a lifetime as I'm doing a SAS hopefully in the next year.

I just recently did n=mine and now i have some positive camber (i belive it looks like this / \) but just barely I havent gotten it aligned yet but as far as driving and letting go of the wheel it does pretty good as far as driving in a straight line

I took about an inch of lift, and used the other half inch to relax the torsion bars to soften the ride. Took me about 3 tries to get the torsion bars equal. Everything works well now, and the soft ride matches the zuk mod in the rear

Read up on how to do an alignment yourself. Get it CLOSE before taking it in.
If you can't do that, you'll need to go to an "alignment only" shop where people really understand the relationships between camber, caster, and toe - and how making big adjustments to one setting will affect the others.

I had cranked in an extra 1/2" of lift in the TB's for a total of 2" in the front to match the 2" of lift in the rear OME leaf springs.
When I took it in the tech at the shop said that he had seen BJ spacers before and said that the extra 1/2" of T-bar crank might make getting the camber in difficult. Sure enough, with the adjustment maxed, he could not get the driver's side in, but could get the passenger side in. So, I went home and cranked out the 1/2" of lift, now the truck has a bit of a rake to it. Then I took it back and had him do the alignment again and it came right in to the numbers.
So, in your situation, you are at the wrong shop, call around and look for a shop that does alignments on modified trucks. Also, I would leave the T-bars at the stock setting so that you only get 1.5" of lift in the front, or, back them off by 1/2" or so, if you can do that without making the truck look really funny.
Good luck,
Mike

As others have said you need to take it to an alignment only shop or to someone that you trust. When I did my pickup I dropped it off at a chain store to get the alignment done and when I called them four hours later to ask WTF the guy on the phone had me come in so he could try to sell me on new wheel bearings, races, rotors, one brake line, calipers and pads..... etc. When I ask what all that had to do with the alignment he said it was store policy not to align anything that had parts that needed to be replaced due to age (not wear, not damage, AGE).
I took it somewhere else and it was done in under an hour, same place that eventually did the truck did the 4runner also.

ya i think the shop that i choose was the issue, not the truck.
so for the people that did get there trucks aligned, howd it hold up over time?

Find a shop that understands alignments rather than alignment machines. If you can't, align it yourself. Here is essentially all you need to know to align it yourself, or at least understand how alignments work--> https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116...ite-up-163432/

BJ Spacers and Allignment
I have had mine installed for roughly 8 months. The allignment shop did mention having difficulty, but were able to in the end. My T-bars are at stock height. Save your pennies and replace your ball joints, tie rods, etc. if feasable, once you're there.
