help with gasket

Im losing brake fluid and it looks like the gasket between the brake booster and brake resivor is damaged, can someone help me find one ive found a couple online for like a $1 then i go to buy it and shipping is $15 ha just a little to high for me. So i went to the local autoparts store and explain what i need and i get a funny look so im not sure what to do the closet dealership is almost an hour away that might be my best bet

well i can see where the fluid is dripping in the engine bay and is eating the paint so i know thats one leak but im in the process of checking the rest of the brakes

Are you talking about the gasket between the MC and booster (red arrow)? or the rubber gaskets/grommets/plugs (whatever) between the reservoir and MC (green arrow)?



If the MC and booster, I just traced the old one with generic gasket material. If it is leaking there though, I think like wabbit said you have a leak in the MC. I don't THINK it's main/real purpose is to constantly keep brake fluid from leaking, seems more like a secondary back up gasket and so the MC doesn't have metal to metal contact with the booster. Total guess though...just my observation when I replaced mine, but that's why I just used generic material and traced it (wasn't too worried).

the red one. Its just a slow leak i fill it up maybe ever 4 months or so it just annoys me when i see my brake light come on
