Got myself a 4runner
Well I got my first 4runner last night, I ended up trading it for my Banshee (hope no one from Bansheehq see this ) Anyway its a '86 22re 5 sp... Has the famous rear end sag and ticky lifters/rockers Ive been reading about. Its a nice clean solid truck, Only thing about it is that the previous owner made a stupid patch for the sun roof, so I thought I would see if anyone here maybe has an extra one or knows where to get them for a decent price,

Welcome to the board, looks like you've got a good platform to start from there.
I've got a buddy with a parts runner. I can ask him if hes going to be keeping his sunroof. Its located in the Tri-Cities.

Thanks guys, its at about 260,000 , but its running alright, has the ticky noise from the rockers, and it misses some times, so they need to be adjusted, dont have any solid history on the thing, prolly do a carfax to get some,

Dude,
Check Ebay for the sunroof. Ebay might have it. Check it regularly.
Looks like easy fix.
BTW. Getting the motor running perfect is half the fun.
How much did you pay for the truck?

No idea why they would do that, maybe a leak, I would think a new seal would be easier than making a patch... yeah Ive been lookin on ebay all i can find is a latch for it but Ill continue the search, I traded it straight across for my 4wheeler (yamaha banshee) which was worth , depending on who you talk to and what coast your on..., $1500-$3000, so I thought it was a pretty good deal, anyway now I have some thing better to tow my boat with...and another money pit
