Is it a Game????
Man this timnig chain repalcement is starting to kick my butt. I got most of the acceosires off yesterday. Tongiht i went back and removed the AC comrpessor and had a field day trying to find the "hidden" bolts to get the bracekt off. Now I have only the crank pulley fighting me. I dont have a puller, and am afraid to really get a screw driver or prybar under the pulley because i know the aluminum will bust with the quickness. Any other ways of removing the pulley without a puler? I wont be able to get at a auto parts store till the weekend. I already have the pulley soaking in PB Blaster so i hope maybe another day of that will have an effect. I do have the torch but i do not want to damage anything while heating it up. Any pointers?

Yeah the bolt is off, i have it set at TDC. There is 6 smaller bolts inside the pully but it looks like it is jsut bolting to the harmonic balancer. Is this true? or do i need to remove those 6 smaller bolts?

If you have the large bolt out it should just slide off of there. I've never had one I had to put a puller on. Just try to rock it back and forth, side to side, and all that to get it loose. If you do end up messing up the aluminum behind it that's just the oil pump and IIRC it was only like $20 for a new one last on I bought. I wouldn't recommend the torch route but if that's the last resort try to keep the heat concentrated on the pulley rather than the crank.

Try to shock it with a rubber mallet or hold a piece of wood on it and tap with a hammer. Don't wail on it...the idea is to just shock it a bit. Mine just pulled straight off by hand once I got the bolt out.
