Fuel Injector Interesting Problem

Hello Everyone!

We are working on our 91 4Runner and decided to clean out the fuel tank by using one of those $5 fuel injector cleaners (the one you put in the gas tank).

I feel like an idiot saying this, but the actual beak of the container was too small to reach and lift the gas tank cover. I thought the fluid was going in, but I realized that it was actually dissipating through two small openings (if you look in your gas tank, there are two small openings (sort of rectangular shaped), and in the middle is the actual place where you put in the gas from the gas hose.

Did I necessarily put in the fluid somewhere else? Did I cause a problem??

Thanks

i'm pretty sure those are pressure vent lines. they go to the tank, so you're fine
