Front Range Off-Road Fab Severe Use front Bumper?

Well it's time to upgrade my front bumper. My stock is rusting, dented and looks stock. I love this bumper but the price is a little high. I was wondering if anybody had this bumper and got some good pics of it. Also what do you all think of it? thanks

It's only high until you try to build one yourself.

That is a plate bumper...3/16" thick, intricate bends and detail...powder coated.

$500 for a tubing bumper is another story...but that ain't a tubing bumper.

www.metalsdepot.com and price it yourself.

You can't go wrong with anything from FROR. Believe me that Brian's idea of "extreme use" is WAY more severe than what you can come up with!

How much is a radiator and front clip if your bumper doesn't protect it?

I know that it's not a tube bumper
So the Severe Use means something
I want something that will hold up, this looks like the one.

Hey, thanks everybody

Now does anybody have some pics?

that bumper from FROR is the only yota bumper I've seen that i liked. Though I wish it had some tubing up and around the lights and side to protect that area and a hoop would be cool

i dont understand why they dont incorporate tubing in... kinda like a WARN or ARB just not as hideously big.

I considered the Front Range bumper as it's about the same price as the TJM. However, I decided against it because I didn't think it was a very good design for a DD (with the way the winch plate sticks out). If my truck wasn't a DD I probably would have gone for it.

Trying to figure out from the description, on FROR.com, how the bumper mounts to the frame.

Does anyone have any pictures of the set-up they use...just can't picture where the 3/8s is and such.

I agree. I love the design, but nothing to protect the lights kinda makes me second guess getting it. How much to these types of bumpers weigh, anyway? lol

A lot.

IMHO, "light hoops" are overrated, at least on rocks. A good solid bumper and attentive driving will keep them in one piece.

I agree. I have never gotten even remotely close to damaging anything that would be protected by a light hoop.
