found two sets of buckets at the boneyard today...
Cant beleive I found not one but two 4runners with buckets. Both sets will need to be recovered but one set has lumbar support. The other set is no lumbar but color is a match.I do like the adjustable angle of the bottom seat pad on the lumbar support set.Guess my question is should I go lumbar or without?I cant ever imagine havin to need that much adjustability.Lastly,do I just take them to a shop to be recovered or can you order the seat kits like you can with a porsche to recover them? Thanks

If you have a choice and it would need to be recovered either way, why not go lumbar?
As far as covers, you can order them online, but taking it to an upholstery shop would probably yield much nicer results.

Lumbar is nice, I don't notice it anymore because I never take it off.
I don't know what shape of the seats are in but if the foam is still good maybe http://www.wetokole.com/ would work for ya.

I got a set of 1994 4 runner limited buckets - cloth from a junkyard for $50 (25 each) no tears and just required a little cleaning. Lumbar side supports butt supports etc on the driver. Buddy got same set same price for his 2wd
