I haven't posted in a bit due to school and other commitments. Anyway, I have a 2.5" upgrade from the cat-back. The cat is a magnaflow high flow and a flowmaster 40(you can go 60 as well if you want) for the muffler. I like the end results myself. I also upgraded some other vehicles I own too. I paid around $200 IIRC to get the whole setup done(local muffler shop) but from what I am told I got a really good deal on it. Oh once I got my solid axle swap done I had to relocate the pipe but I am still happy with the end results(see my SAS thread I think there may be some pics of the exhaust setup in there. If not sorry)
Good Luck!

I couldn't help but notice that someone with no exhaust experience is telling you to go with a 2.5'' exhaust. First off I work for an exhaust manufactuer in Mesa AZ. All you have to do is replace your catalytic converter with a stock replacement, or a high flow cat., and order a magnaflow muffler with a 2'' inlet and outlet. Keep your stock tubing on the truck. 2'' tubing is the perfect size for a 22RE. anything larger will result in a loss of back-pressure, and ultimatley a loss of power. Also LC engineering offers a header that really offers a noticeable gain in power. This is basically the same thing I did to my truck and I picked up about 15 horses and around 2-3 extra miles per gal.

I've got a 2 1/4" pacesetter cat-back exhaust system. Its around $250 (look on pitstopautoparts.com) and did alot for my bottom end power. I'm gonna get flamed for this, but since Ohio did away with smog check I ditched my cat. It sounds really unique and performs well.
