well i can tell you one thing, when i first join this site i was considereing dead on arrivial, he has been sued and has drew bad blood with several members i went with L C E forged pistons that diesel rattle until warm , they say its normal and wont hurt nothing?? ok i guess, also pricey--yes, but it runs like a bat out of heck, also the off intake manifold is the worst had to get it machined and had to- use tight seal (used for GE steam and gas turbines) on the gasket to get a seal,

@TOYOTA_1- point made. But reputation goes a long ways, no? Even if people think "Rock" products are crap, Engnbldr stands behind what he sells, and no one I've come across has ever complained about service... but I've heard many complaints about "Rock" and "DOA" and "LCE". So maybe Engnbldr is a vendor, complaints are handled quite well and intelligently in such a manor that his things, for whatever alleged quality they may legitimately have, always works out for the customer's benefit, not the manufacturer's behalf. I take that to mean a lot.

and let's not include autozone, napa, etc... and their parts, no?
even though I bought an autozone throttle position sensor with Denso part numbers stamped right on it...
... it came from autozone so it must be crap, right?
yeah, it goes both ways.

I have used EB's engine kits, heads, cams, head bolts and rods on 3 builds.
I have never had a parts quality issue, and customer service is top notch.
I e mailed Ted on a Sunday with an oil clearance question during assembly, and he answered my question in 15 minutes.
Another vendor I use is Parts Dinosaur out of Arizona, good parts, low prices, quick shipping.

Ahhhh, you saw just a 22re's runner. And that may be true of the broads up here, that's why my better half is a florida transplant living in downtown Vancouver.
I drove thru Salem once, held my nose the whole time, and I saw you on the street corner, holding up a sign offering to give bj's for beer money. Is that an obsession or just a hobby?

With as many people around here using his products as there are, if they exploded when you took them out of the box you'd surely be hearing about it don't you think?
Instead there's nothing but praise... Who are you going to believe, his competitors or the people that actually use his products?
