Elocker help please.

I have been fighting the elocker for a while now. I had a friend who worked at a toyota shop install it and the taco rearend. He didnt wire it and i had a friend build me a harnes. Well it didnt unlock so i had another harnes built because i thought that was the problem and still wont unlock. I was reading this page
http://67.122.16.97/carterman/4runner/mods/locker/

And he talks about the locker motor being past the limits. I tried to jump the pins to unlock it because at this point the truck is in daily mode and the rear end being locked all the time is killing my tires and plain sucks to drive. It wont do anything i tried once with the tires on the ground lifted the rear thinking pressure on it would make it harder to unlock and it clicked a bit and thats it. I didnt push it so i didnt burn out the motor. Im looking at this and because i never really looked at the locker apart and cant find detailed pics of the motor i dont know what cover to pull off. I have looked around some but am coming up with nothing. I understand electric motors and have built a few but dont really want to mess anything up in the rearend by pulling the wrong cover off. Can anyone help point me in the right direction or give me some pointers on doing this?

Thanks from me and my tires

Probably not what you want to hear(or really any help), but if you're stuck with a locked rear end, mabey you should pull the 3rd, and swap in you old one.

Figure out the e-locker on the bench before you need to drive on it anymore.

this is of course provided you don't have the 8.4" TRD rear end

I had thought abou that but i rather just spend a full day getting it going. I may pull it out and bench test it and get it working so i can put it back in with the harnes. Projects are stacking up and im moving soon so id like to just get it working. I have a 2nd car but cant drive it in the snow and from what i hear were going to be getting some this week.
