I got these H4 lights installed. I went to a Christmas party tonight up the road. It was light when left my house and I got to the party and it dragged on until around 9pm. I snuck out the back door of the place and found my way to my truck. I had sorta forgot about the lights I installed. Then I got in and turned them on and pulled out onto the road. I have to say in all honesty I have NEVER seen this little country road so lit up at night! These lights shot a huge wide beam all across the road. I actually thought I had my high beams on but I was on dim. High is spectacular! I ordered the 100 55W White and I have an LC Engineering Hi-Output Alternator - (93-95) 22R/RE Pick-Up & 4Runner alternator which helps (I think).
This is really a good deal for roughly 40 bucks I dare say I now own those totally annoying lights that blind me fromt the opposite lane late at night below are a few pics. I don't really know what they are showing but to ME I have never seen my driveway so lit up pulling into it. I am VERY happy with these. ![]()

they should work through the body style change. I think in 4runners that was in 96.

Will they fit an 87 4runner? By the way...what is the best color and wattage for mostly city driving. My runner is my daily driver. I was also thinking of piciking up this ebay sellers 4 inch fog lights. Any and all suggestions or comments appreciated.
Thanks... |

Well I got mine in yesterday, and installed last night. KUDOS to toyota on that engineering job. What a PITA just to change head lights. any way here are some pictures.
old lights on garage slight incline ![]() old head lights on drive way slight decline ![]() new ebay H4 conversions with 100/55 white bulbs price $43 ![]() new head lights on drive ![]() Considering the price I am very pleased. I have some tweaking to do, the high beams seem to point down. My guess is I put these in upside down. Yea for me. Oh well. I can actually see when it's dark now, for that I am pleased. As stated by others the quality looks pretty good, and the rubber seals are a nice touch.

I might just be missing something but isn't an H6054 an H6054? Just because the listing for Toyota trucks isn't there anymore, he does have plenty of other listings for 200mm H4 conversions in his ebay store. Wouldn't those work just as well?
EDIT: n/m I got looking closer and for some reason all the other lights he has on there have a plastic reflector and clear lens. Weird....
