yeah im prolly gonna go the same route with lockers on both ends, but im going to weld the rear as soon as i need to change the fluid again..and an ausie up front, i think its alot more fun to show up people with big money into their rigs with ifs than it is to have said amount of money into it and not be able to do something if that happens i can blame ifs but pertaining to the op question a buddy of mine runs lockrights front and rear with a 4" lift and 35"s he breaks a cv every once n a while when he feels like bein stupid

So I've been talking to a guy on pirate who is selling a front IFS third with Richmond 4.88 gears and a Detroit EZ locker/lockrite...he doesn't know exactly which one it is. I'm about to take it off his hands....any thoughts on the EZ locker/lockrite....I know...search, but my internet is bein slow

EZ locker is made by Detroit (Eaton) and Lockrite is made by Richmond. I can't speak for the EZ Locker, but being a Eaton product I'd prefer it.
If the price is right, snatch it up. Hope the install was done properly =)
Everyone has a pretty big hard on for full lock up front, and a real limp one for Detroits Truetrac. I actually love the darn thing upfront. But, having said that, it's definetly more beneficial in a solid axle with more articulation (tires in contact with the ground like 99.9% more than with IFS) so it performs 99.9% better hehe. All my buddies run either spool or lockrites upfront and they like it but steering is a beach. If I was into more technical, rock crawling per say... I'd do a ARB or Elocker for sure, but all around versatility and performance, this thing rocks.
