Crank position sensor location

Does anyone know where the crank position sensor is on an '87 22re?

I didn't think they had crank position sensors on vehicles that old.

The ignition pick ups are in the distributor. Same basic job as a crank sensor.

ya the sensor on the side of the distribitor does the job
