Pull the Cluster and just take a look, seriously..... it's only a few screws and it's out. For all you know, the steering wheel column notch or something caught on a wire in the ignition switch arena or SOMETHING, ...and is causing what seems like a really strange electrical gremlin, ya know? Lot's of important stuff in there, man, ya know? lol.

Either way, glad it's drivable for now, ....good news!

yeah, ill pull it apart soon. i just need to have it drivable. im headed to reno in less than 2 weeks. i need to have it running well enough to get me there by then. crossing my fingers hoping for no more serious issues!

cincinnati ohio to reno NV... 2250 miles!

when my windsheild wiper fuse blows my rear window switch at console wont work, but the rear window wiper still will..... I dont think your problems are all that deep. check your main grounds at battery to ground and body ground..appropriate gauge wire to all major elect. conn.?
I know the frustration brother, I am going through a pain in arse vacuum problem with my 3.slug

long trek....thats funny Im headed the other way tucson az to Johnson City Tn....lol... and sudenly have engine issues..arrgghhhh

Hi acousticrawk-
I know this may sound kind of wierd but run a jumper wire from the engine block to the negative post...and see if the voltage drop goes away when the lights are on hi-beam.
