Computer problems or cold start injector?
my 91 pickup will not start on a cold morning unless I leave a light shining on the computer that is located on the passenger side near the floorboard in front of the door.
Some have said this cold start problem may the cold start injector switch, but that is located on front of the engine. Are these two related????
Thanks

Cold Starting issues.
...see topic starter "Cold Start '91 P/U" on page 2. I think it's just a coinsidence it starts with the (shop) light on in the cab, I may be wrong, however this is the first time I've ever heard of this fix and I've been monitoring this site for years with the same problem... Is your truck a 4 or 6 cylinder engine?

what you are experiencing and what foible you present are not likely related.
we need detailed descriptions of what you do to start it when it won't start as well as detailed descriptions of how the light helps get it started... and we need those detailed as meticulously as possible, otherwise we cannot help.
we also need to verify that the engine runs perfectly normal once warmed up.
