Clutch question 91 motor/87 W56
Hey Im new here on yotatech. My name is TJ Jennings and I'm just getting in to building my own Toyota. Ive helped many of my buds build their toyotas so I figured why not ! Here is what I got. 1994 Toyota Ext. cab pickup 4x4. I got it with no drivetrain in it for $800. The truck came with a 22re from factory so I bought a 22re out of a 91 truck. I got a killer deal on a Tranny and t- case out of a 1987 4 runner. Transs is a W56 and has a top shift t case. Getting ready to bolt up the engine and tranny but I have a clutch question. I know the throw-out bearing is different between the 87 4 runner and 91 pickup. I have in my hand a complete clutch for a 94 toyota truck (same as the 91). Is it as simple as putting the throw-out bearing for the 87 4 runner on the Clutch assembly for the 94 ?
