I was removing the cam pulleys off the engine and I took a chunk out of the cam pulley with the tool / high torque the bolt had. It is abour a third of the way across and about 1/2 inch long. Should I get a new pulley or use it with the chunk gone? I searched the web and cannot find a place that sells replacement pulleys. TIA

You should get a new pulley(or atleast a good used one).
It helps to know exactly what you're looking for...

the last think you want is for that thing to crack at 2500 RPM's... you may end up spending a lot more than just the cost of a new pulley... the 3.0 isn't an interference motor, but if the pulley breaks off and falls down into the casing with the belt and everything else, it may take something else out with it

If it isn't obvious from the other posts, the left and right pulleys are the same part. Don't look the same? That's because they are installed opposite sides out. (So take pictures BEFORE you remove both of them; there is no obvious way they go back on!)

False. Since the FSM shows quite obviously which way they are to be installed.

Ahhhh. I as wondering. I took pics when I was disassembling, and noted that the flange was on the drivers side. I thought they were different pulleys. That is awesome bit of info, thanks!
