Cant keep fluid in radiator

hey guys, this is another problem that my truck has just gotten. Yesturday i noticed after i had gotten to school that my truck had lost alot of antifreeze. i looked and it looked like it was coming out of the cap so i put more in. when i was driving home, my truck started to run real rough, so when i got home i popped the hood and there again was anti freeze all over the place. i looked closer and seen that it had filled up my reservior and was coming out of the little tube. I thought it was the thermostate being stuck closed or something so i replaced it last night. that didnt do anything, so i replaced the cap and that didnt do it either. i can now hear the water running through my heater core like it has alot of air in the system or something? i have no idea what it is anymore.

What engine? Sounds like headgaskets to me. Sorry.

I had em blow on my 3.0, there was no "white smoke" so to speak of but my temp gauge fluctuated a lot, my cooling system had lots of air in it and I was loosing coolent too.

Go to the hardware store and get one of those $3 CO detectors (the one where CO makes the spot turn black, not an electronic alarm) then take off your radiator cap, set the CO detector where the cap goes and idle the engine for about 20 minutes. If the spot turns dark, exhaust is leaking into your coolent system and you need new headgaskets.
