bucket seats
I have an 89 pickup and I was thinking about putting bucket seats in. I dont really want to have to make brackets and stuff so i was wondering if there was any that bolt right in? and has anyone done this and then put a center console in? If you have could you please post some pics so i can get some ideas.

92-95 civic or 94-2001 integra seats fit with simple brackets. the bolt holes line up in the front for 3 of the holes. i weigh 170 and offroading in integra seats destroyed them. the inner frame of the seat cannot handle the bouncing around. they lasted less than a year. my new truck has a full bench and i would love buckets again, so thanks for making this post.

lol. I hate the bench seat for driving...
it can come in handy though, as its just big enough to stuff in 2 chicks in along with a driver... Its really interesting when they straddle the stick..................
but anyways, i weigh 120 so i dont think seats based on weight will be a problem for me
you could always put in volvo seats, cuz those are spiffy

the integra seats looked great, felt great, their sliders worked, the recline feature...priceless. however you loose the need to tell the girl next to you that you are going for 2nd gear.....ha.

my reg cab is full bench fixed recline. i would give a couple clicks foward just to gain a little lazier position. under the carpet the holes are there for the middle set of bolts but there is no threads. i would have preferred to start with the 60/40 split cause that has 8 mounting points not 4. when i got this truck i felt like i was leaning to the right all the time while driving. turns out my bench was tacoed. i pulled it, flipped it over, jumped on it and reinstalled. problem solved.

I think my brother got a kid at the local high school to do up a bracket for him. He gave him the design and let the kid work the plasma cutter etc. Cost him about $3 per seat for metal.

i put s10 seats in it, they fit pretty nicely with the little ridge that runs thru the toyotas... didnt have to make any brackets, just drilled new holes and i love them so much more than the worn out bench seat that was in there
