Bench to buckets swap...
Why didn't I do this sooner??? I found a 93 4-runner being parted out, got both buckets & center console for 80 bucks! These are the only buckets I have found without the fabric totally torn & yellow foam showing. The top of the drivers seat cushion is frayed out though, seat covers on the way.
The adjustable lumbar support is nice, but I didn't like the center console. It takes up a lot of space with very little storage, mostly looks like an armrest. Look for a future write-up of the "A.A.C.C.", Armrest Ammo Can Console!
These bolt right in, with the exception of one bolt, which already has a hole present. I punched a grade 8 bolt, washer & nut through that hole. The bench seatbelts work, but I wish I had grabbed the seatbelts along with the buckets for a better fit.
Before:
Broke-dick old vinyl bench seat, complete with broken springs & no recline... Seatcover permanently smelled of EP chassis lube & dirty man...
After:
Very NIIIIIIIIIICE, comfortable & less stinky!!!
There is just enough extra legroom to make my truck much more comfortable for my 6'2 frame.

I'm SO going to do this eventually. IF I can find some decent ones. Atleast I've got the DLX model split bench seat(L & R seatbacks w/independently adjustable recline & adjustable headrests + central fold-down shared armrest). It's the next best thing to those SR5 buckets.
There's a write-up in the Wiki too. But it's not working right now...should be soon though.

Seriously the best thing i've done for my rig. What I wanted was some grey leather buckets from a 95 with the seat-heater thingy's, but the search for these has been kind of like Coronado's quest for the golden cities....

Civic seats
What I did was take a honda civics' seats out of a junkyard and found a console at wally world for 40$ and did this. The seats took a little modifiying, but with some fiddlin I was able to bolt it into all the holes (4 per seat). There were already holes for bolts so it was pretty painless. so 80$ into seats and console. shes freakin classy. And i mounted one of those super slim subs behind the drivers seat so I can go all the way back and its active so I didnt need to find a spot for the amp either. sub cost me 120$. pretty good setup with 6.5 in the doors, 4's up front 10 in the back with a pioneer hu.

I believe it was somewhere in the 92-96 generation. 4 door also. I will say i do miss my 6x9s I had in my integra. That door barely fit the 6.5's, but I have seen 6x9s in the doors, which I would preferred for sound, but I didn't to kick a speaker everytime I jumped in and out of my truck.

I just noticed this remark at the end of your post. That my friend is valuable information as I was wondering if there was a difference. At 6-1, I could use a little more room as well. New seats just went up a few notches on my punch list.
