i did a bed from an 87 pickup to a 92 pick up and like terry said it will fit perfect but the lines wont match and if i remember correctly the bed from the 87 seemed like it was 1cm smaller in width which wasnt very noticable.

86 bed on 95 pickup.

I put the bed from my 86 4x4 onto my 95 4x4 because the 95 was rotted out pretty bad over the wheel wells and roccker panels. When I was running the 86 I had put a brand new bed on it so when I bought the 95 v-6 3.0 I figured what the hell lets give it a shot,I did and all the mounts lined up perfectly and I used rubber roofing membrane cut into little mini washers and stacked them until I got the right height, used stainless nuts, bolts, washers top and bottom and finally lock washers on the bottom and although the lines werent exactly the same I like the look. Also it was slightly narrower but I also liked the look.I eventually also used the rear axle from the 86 and used the leaf springs in conjunction with the 95s to make a custom stack to eliminate the Toyota rear droop.(what I called it)Then I got crazy and removed the 95 rusted out front bumper and replaced that with the 86 bumper, with some slight modifications by combining the mounting brackets from both trucks useing my dremel tool a drill, hammer and more stainless carriage bolts nuts and washer, lock washer combo.Im currently modifying the grille from the 86 to fit the 95 because I like the look. But the only mods the bed tok was the rubber spacers between the bed and the frame.I loved my 86 so much that Im trying to incorporate as much of the soul of that truck into my 95.Good luck, the beds the easiest part.
