air locker Q

I installed a arb 3rd member from trail gear and it seems to be leaking gear oil at the air line hole on the differential. I experienced the air locker disengaged when it was submerged under water. I just bought another complete arb 3rd from trail gear and it seems like there is no Teflon paste at the air line nipple where it taps into the different housing. I thought these were drop in and go differentials but it seems like they didn't put Teflon paste on. Anyone have this same problem? Seems like an easy fix to take off the air line and and nipple and add Teflon paste to remedy? Thank you

I bought it thru low range. It was a pain to deal with customer service. They forgot the air line in my last one and didn't get it for a whole month. Haven't contacted trail gear or low range about this issue.

Red face

Are you sure it is not as simple as you vent being blocked??

Once things get warm it will push out the easiest place

Is the top of your vent above the high water mark ??

You want to be real careful just what you use more dirt into the air solenoid does not help things

I did think about that because I have the trail gear creeper breather which is that accordion looking thing. Ar those compatible with an air locker?
