well i got 90% of the body work dune just need to paint the top a high gloss black and hurculine the bottoen overwhatis black already you can see the pic i have on my profile here and see what im talking about but once again waiting on funds ugg well once funding comes again i will post more thanks for all the post guys btw does and one know were i can find an 3'' inline air filter for a snorkel i found one on ebay but it was a kit and was 130+ shipping and i onlyneeded the filter but if yall know of some place please shot me a pm or post here i check regulerly thanks again

If you've gotta use the Optimas (which are not that great of a battery at all) for your application, which is a deep cycle, you should get the yellow tops as they are deep cycle. The Reds aren't, and drawing them down much below about 3% from the top will really wreck havok on 'em.
You'd be much better off using Odyssey's..

Regarding the fan, you should also fab up a shroud. The shroud is a very important part of the cooling (air flow).
I've run the Flex-A-Lite's before, and while they draw a lot of air, they also sap a fair amount of engine power, even when they don't really have to.
If you're having overheating problems due to heavy loads, the flex fans can certainly help (with the use of a shroud), at the cost of some HP sap.

Glad you got back safe... I hear it takes about a mo. to get all the sand out of your shorts but I may be wrong LOL...

on that 3" inline filter check heavy/farm equipment suppliers... some of those tractors/machines use an inline air filter thingy...

ok this may look really weird to allot of ppl and im sure ppl are going to say dude whey did you do that for you should have done this or that but I really don’t care I have fun doing it and it only cost me 145 total BTW I cant spell
But here are these pics and if you have some constructive criticism I am always looking to improve not disassemble what has been done thanks for all yalls help and I hope to have my second battery installed as soon as I get one all the wires are set up just need the darn battery

that is the Air Filter inline K&N cone with water purge installed
the AFM is just atacthed to a small brakectet at the bottom
i did my best to keep it as flowing as well as i could and i used 3"
hose/pipe to aleveat the turning on the air flow once i get the head/colector it will be alot better then what is there i needed something to cover the hole when i was TDY but i need a good day of weather and a day off to weld it all up and set it on there thanks for the comments yall keep em coming

Notice a loss of performance?

I wonder if there are any better ways to do the 180* bend with out shop vac hose. Anyone? Ricers have to have something.

Everyone is so concerned about "performance" and "opening up the intake" or "opening up the exhaust" without having much of a clue and fluid dynamics, especially velocity, turbulence, surface reversion, etc.
To see something like that corrugated hose in the setup, wow, talk up induced turbulence.
