One thing I'll add here is that you'll need to replace the upper zerk fitting on the ball joint with one that is straight. The 90 degree one that came from the factory is impossible to get yo once the spacer is on.

The pin that holds the ball joint nut on is a bugger to get out. you will need an ice pick or something like it, and needle nose pliers. Also the pitman arm puller from harbor freight works great for removing old ball joints. It is expensive though. I think I paid $3.99 for mine. But I have only used it about 5 times so I guess it has been worth it. It definately beats hammering on suspension parts.
I really like the OME N98's I put on, I got them from TRD. You may as well plan on breaking the nuts on your T bars. Both of mine broke and mine werent even rusted. I did PB blaster the heck out of those things for a week first too.
Good luck it's a nice mod once it's done.

the point of this is to keep the arm from dropping all the way down when you take the weight off the front. this will give you a lot more space to work. i wish i'd done that when i did mine.
also if you have the money replace the ball joints and CV's too (if they need it). the fewer times you have to tear the front end apart the better. you'll also only need one alignment. again, all stuff i wish i'd done different.

As far as boots, get the ones that clamp on, they work fine, I have them right now. I would however suggest keeping a good boot on there. They CV will wear out very fast when sand and dirt get in there. Boots are cheap and clamp-ons are easy to install and inexpensive.
