94 toyota pickup 4wd question

i went 4 wheelin with my neighbors last weekend and i noticed that when the truck was in 4 wheel drive 1 front tire wasn't spinning. aren't both front tires supposed to be spinning? just wondering?

that is what lockers are for.... it is like a rwd car has one power tire its 2wd. same as fwd has one power tire its 2wd. 4wd is just connecting the fwd and rwd mechanisms. you are thinking along the lines of what awd is... this will explain it all for ya better.
