I didn't get to check anything today since it rained ALL day but tomorrow I'm going out to check for air leaks and run by Advance and put the new coolant sensor in. I drove it to my parents today and it ran great for a 160 mile round trip. I am still having issues getting it started. It turns over and I have to step on the gas, which is not supposed to happen in EFI, and when it starts it dies about 4 times before it finally starts. Now when it finally starts, it runs great.

The way I have to start it is to plug the coolant temp sens in and start it... starts perfect. Then get back out and unplug it. The only other thing that I've noticed is that it idles higher and when I let off the throttle to shift, it comes down pretty slow. Other than that, my baby is finally running pretty well. Not sure what's causing the idle to be higher. I'm replacing the coolant sens tomorrow and checking for leaks lol I felt lazy today so didn't do much except sell a bed liner. I was just looking on the net for a cold start injector and all I'm coming up with is a cold start valve... is that it?

Nah its supose to be called a cold start injector. some places may call it a cold start valve. throttle may be sticking a little bit try cleaning your throttle plate with carburator cleaner. Anywho keep posted.

I went out this morning and put the new coolant temp sens in it and she fired right up and is running great. I have a slight puff in the exhaust but I haven't gone though it yet to see if it has leaks. I'm looking for a header to put on it now. I had to run somewhere quick this morning so I haven't sprayed the fuel plate with cleaner yet but hopefully it will help. I may have to bump the idle down a bit.
