OK, so I removed the FP and there is no water in the tank. Looks very good actually compared to last time I had a look in there. Pump is in fine shape as are all the lines and connections. After I removed the big FF, I blew out the lines from the tank forward and from the wheel well joint back. Any blockage will have to be further up but I am doubting it. The forward line was virtually spotless. That's the first time it has been blown out since '88 I'm guessing. Excellent and obstruction free. The rear was a little more dirty but I blew out quite a bit of sediment and rusty gas but no big chunks or anything like that. The only really interesting development was when I blew out the new filter which has less than a gallon of gas through it so far. More sediment and a little rusty gas. More than it should have been for having virtually no gas through it. I would venture a guess that the old filter was pretty bad and was probably inhibiting fuel flow but that should have been fixed when the new filter went on. Anyway, I don't believe it's in the mechanical fuel system now. I'm thinking electronics now. I'm gonna get the codes. Back later. Thanks for everyone's help.

NEW INFO: Fuel system is clean up to the EFI system.
Fuel pump is working normally.
EFI and all related fuses and fusible links look good.
Going to test fuel pressure and pull codes if possible. I have never done either of those things but there's always a first time I guess.
NOTE: NO CODES! OPERATING NORMALLY!
I pulled the hose off the FPR again and now, again, there is no flow.

I got it all figured out and just wanted to tie up the thread with what happened. Rust in the fuel fouled the FPR. Also, the fuel pump was very weak. Replaced them both and it's running pretty well. Still a little rough when motor is cold. Had to pull the plenum which was a BITCH. Probably hadn't been done in 10 years or more. Lots of hoses had to be replaced as did the plenum gasket and PCV valve. I learned a lot but I am gonna get rid of this motor and get something different when it goes. In a few weeks, it's going to get a new set of plugs and wires as well as a new cap and rotor. Also, I am gonna have the injectors checked out at some point in the near future. Thanks again to everyone.
