4Runner 2nd generation Price guide

Listen to this!

I got a dark blue 1992 4Runner with a clean title and 155k original motor for $1950!

It had records when they first bought it and it even showed a headgasket redone in 2004.

I put $800 in it for a new water pump, timing belt, one drive belt, and a coolant leak to be fixed.

That's about $2800!

It runs like a champ and is super clean.

I also put $90 into an IFS axle and did it myself. and $75 into a new power steering pump (haven't put it in yet).

And it will be tip top after the pump and another IFS axle (that im getting for cheap).

I call this a deal!

What did everyone else pay for their 4Runners??

Thanks
Smod

I got my 95 4rnr about 3 yrs ago for $5,000 after I talked the dealer down from $5500 , because it needed tires , it had around 110,000 mi. on it . ran strong but I think I have dumped about $3,000 if not more into it, between mods , and repairs.

$2,400 for my Black '91, with the 3VZE and an Auto. 196K on it when I got it, but a dealer had done the HG's and put brand new heads on it at 188K. Came with 4 brand new BF Goodrich All-Terrain TA's, 31X10.5. So that right there is like $600, so I figure about $1,800 for the truck itself. No idea why you would buy all new tires right before you sold it, they still had the little nubs on them from the factory.

Real clean truck, especially after ripping those damn ugly running boards off, and put in the Air Lift 1000.

I paid $1000 for my 91 and had to put front pads on it, and passenger side control to get it safetied. And passed the emissions test first try. In the year that I've had it I've had to changea rear u joint, put new upper ball joints in when I did the spacers ( not needed but figured may as well) Probably cost me 2200 so far total including the original 1000.
