if i got the 4 in BS would the tires stick out the fenders alot?

I don't think you can run 4" BS with a bracket lift. There just isn't enough room between the top of the spindle and the tire.

And btw, 7" of lift is plenty for a 35x12.50 or even a 35x13.50 if you can find one. If you want a little more lift, and more flex, then add a bj spacer but it's completely unnecesarry.

The larger the backspace, the less the tire sticks out. You have it backwards.

The treestumps (we are talking 2-6 inch stumps here...) would get caught between the lower control arms and the skidplate...or in and amongst that area..had to hilift myself off.....happened in snow where you couldnt see to avoid


with a SAS..it would of just glanced off..

But in the most part, I'm pretty impressed with the strength of the IFS with the drop bracket lift....seems pretty well protected up front as well

oh and with a 35" x 13.5....with 3.75 backspacing..be aware, youll probably need some sort of fender flare.....depending on your local laws of course...

i have 35 x 12.5's and they stick out 2-4 inches....the bushwhackers cover them up nicely though....xept for the right rear which got ripped off in the trees....sigh..(another job to do....anyway, i wandered off topic..

That sounds like a good plan. The IFS is strong. People ruined the name of IFS when they lift trucks so equipped and attempt to run 38-42" tires through mudpits and bouncing over unforgiving terrain. You will be fine with 33x12.50s, perhaps, maybe even 35s, but that's pushing it over the edge. People think just because they can fit 37s or 38s, they should. Not the case in IFS.

superlift/BDS are nice ones.
my cuz has a 4-5" superlift and 3" bodylift and clears 37x12.5 SSR's.
It rubs the front mudflaps sometimes, nothing some trimming/relocation wouldnt fix.

with major trimming you can fit any tire size you want. Why not utilize 60" agriculture tractor tires?
