Wiring Harness

Does any one know if this is the wiring harness right behind the timing belt cover, and under the front of the plenum? And does the plenum have to be removed to replace the wires?

Could this be the wiring that is attatched on the front clip behind the grill?

I'd also like more details, pictures and explanations.

My 1993 3VZE starts more quickly when very cold, it takes longer to start in summer but that doesn't bother me.

The problems I have are relatively low power at lower RPM and some pinging at around 70-75 mph even with 91 octane fuel. The ignition timing is supposed to be ok, I tried with a bit more advance with no noticeable increase in power but more pinging, and with less advance and I couldn't get faster than 65 MPH with the pedal to the floor on the overdrive (so that solved the pinging problem above 70!)...
There are no codes but there was once a distributor code that was erased at the dealer and it didn't get back on my next visit. Fuel pressure was supposed to be ok too.

My truck has stock 31" tires, manual transmission and 4.56 gears. I got this truck at 124,000 miles and it did have this problem already and now it has 165,000 miles and I still haven't figured what was causing this problem. The timing belt was replaced at the dealer at 130,000 but there was no improvement (and the belt was checked at 155,000 miles for the alignment of the cam pulleys and it was still correct)

It's quite fuel efficient as I can do more than 335 miles with a tank of fuel (slightly better than my 22RE with 4.10 gears!) but it doesn't feel more powerful than my 22RE either!

Is he talking about the harness that runs across the front of the engine, behind the timing belt?
