3.4 Vacuum line mystery
I just completed a head gasket job on my 3.4 engine and I seem to have a mystery vacuum line I cannot find where it goes. There are3 metal vacuum tubes sitting on top of the fuel injection. The thinner tube has a "T" on it and I found one end of it not hooked up to anything. For now I stuck a yellow cap on it. Can someone tell me when this goes??
Also on I side note when I hooked the wire harness to the TPS (throttle position sensor) I noticed a connector not connected to anything. It is so short nothing will reach it. Maybe its not used on my engine but was curious what it was for.
Regards,
Mike

Mine heads to a check valve and then to the controls for the ADD diff/hubs VSV......original from the factory. On a swapped engine, hard to say...you should have a loose tube someplace.

absolutely .. and that looks like a factory " T " .. and possible explanation of it being blocked off , maybe the previous owner went with manual hubs ? IDK? .. I was just offering some more info for the fella ...
edit .. ohh I guess I didn't read enough .. you just did the head gasket ! sorry , I missed that .
so yeah , obviously it had to be hooked up to something
