OMG! Well that's your problem, the 2001 ECU is looking for a wide band A/F ratio sensor to manage your A/F ratio. Buy yourself the proper sensor. Here's a good source: http://www.urdusa.com/product_info.p...s_id=430006000

The front one is the important one, the 2nd one just lets you know if the cat/cats are doing a good enough job. I'll rephrase what I said earlier, the front O2 sensor is at least one of your problems, but you may have others as well. When was the last time you pulled the OBDII codes?

What did you do with the EVAP vacuum lines? Have you checked for vacuum leaks?

Your new MAF is the correct one for the 2001, 4x4 and same tranny as your 2001 ECU is for? And what kind of intake is the MAF mounted in, the one that matches your ECU?

yes same maf replaced twice and nope still running like poop. the o2 sensor i used from the 3.0 has the same resistane as the 3.4 one so i belive thats not the problem. also the rear o2 sensor is susposed to have 11 to 16 oms resistance and it only has 1.5 oms of resistance so i belive that could be my problem let me know what you guys think. cause so far im preaty lost if thats isnt it so throw anything up what it could be. the check engine light came back on also.

There's no way the rear O2 sensor is causing it to run bad, but it will throw a CEL if its bad. Actually now that I think about it when I first got mine going I drove to the muffler shop about 5 miles with no O2 sensors at all and it ran fine and idled fine. Pull the codes and go from there, that's the beauty of the OBDII, it tells you where to look.

It sounds like you've taken a lot of short cuts with this swap and somewhere it's catching up with you. Are you sure there are no air leaks after the MAF sensor or vac leaks where all your evap stuff is missing. There is an old trick to help find those IIRC, maybe starter fluid or something like that? Or maybe an exhaust leak before the incorrect front O2 sensor?

its the 0o2 sensor my friend with a 3.4 said his rear one went out it did what mine is doing so i belive that is it and the evap line is just hanging there and the one from the engine is pluged. i checked for vacume leaks wit carb cleaner all around the manifold and there is none even sprayed down the vacume lines. when you drove to the muffler shop it wasent long enough of a drive to set the code i belive or its a two trip code for the o2 sensors.

i had to do a few short cuts on this swap for now untill i get out of school witch is in six weeks than its all comein back out. seems kind of pointless but hey i needed a way to get around.

ok pulled codes and the only code is evap solenoids. i got it running good it was the throttle linkiges they were bent so it was keeping the throttle open just a bit. makeing the tps read 14.5 percent open whitch was makein the maf read 19.5 grams per second. that reading is only susposed to show up at wide open throttle so all good expect for exhaust leaks makein it run lean for now.
