3.4 air filter
3.4 swap almost complete,What air filter and intake did you use on your swaps?I would like to use a stock/modified 3.4 air filter housing.Any ideas?Looks to me like it will almost bolt right up.

My donor came with a K&N intake on it, so I used the tube, but I went to a Trueflow filter on it. I can't vouch for power gains, as I have nothing to compare it to, but I like the sound!
Check Mt Goat's 3.4 build up thread - he used the stock Taco intake, as I recall.

Yep, stock Taco airbox with stock OEM filter. I'd get a Amsoil filter (non-oil type) if they made a drop in replacement for the stock airbox. The thing you need to realize is the 5VZFE MAF (unlike the 3VZ-E AFM) is very sensitive to oil and dirt contamination so oil-less air filtration is the way to go IMHO.

Use a 3.4 factory air box, TrueFlow air filter, and an Air Raid intake tube....
I've seen used air boxes on eBay. Northridge Toyota sells TrueFlow air filters for about $45 shipped. The AirRaid "MIT" runs about $100.
