Consider relaxing a little, Coug's. I know you're in the postion to make whatever decision seems most appropriate, but I think really he's just a young fellow confused. If I'm wrong, it's Hammer time....lol!

But, I doubt it.

I understand what you are saying thooky. But when a person has been told time and time and time again what to do, it starts to border on insanity to leave a thread like this open. 3 pages later, and still doesn't know what to do?

Doody or get off the pot, I say.

Haha.....yeah, I know what you mean. I guess I'm inclined to give the benefit of the doubt. If he is jackin' us around, then the joke's on me and I can deal with that. But, then I say we give him the full treatment.....vital style.....

also maybe try to keep in mind.... without all the repetition of newbie questions, that get asked day in and day out, over and over again, there really wouldn't be all that many threads here....and you would be bored all day

Not me, team. I'm really good at keeping myself interested in my life. I'm only here because it's interesting at the moment......though, less and less with the redundancy.....but

How 'bout them Russian Hammers!!!!!! Woooh! Pack a good wallup...hahaha!

And, actually there are some good threads going on. And, it may not be many, but it's enough.

ya, well...I keep coming back to, so......

Actually, I was a newb once to, and people like you helped me out( actually, I can think of a few instances when YOU helped me out) so I don't mind the redundancy, I try to help out where I can... but damn...3 pages of I dont know what to do???? That is a bit extreme.

To the O.P.... here is what ya need to do.....

Step 1: Insert key in ignition, and turn...vehicle should now be running

Step 2: Drive vehicle to local mechanic

Step 3: Bend over and take it like a man.... they not even gonna use vasaline.....

LOL j/k man, just follow the instructions you have been given.

Certainly we were all newbie bewbies once. I was just looking over some of the first threads I'd started last nights kinda reflecting on how far I've come with the vehicle stuff and looking for some pertinent info within them for this thread. Anyway.....dang!!!! I WAS a newb! Haha! I got confused on things namely because I didn't know what many things were called, what the heck people were talking about, or much less how to use a DVM. But, I also did a lot of research and gave it my best shot. So, like I said....I give the benefit of the doubt. But, getting jerked around's not real fun. However, watching the DeathHammer bludgeoning a turd is!!! I really don't think 4rnr4life is, though. Just new to the whole thing.

I see he has been told before, and never seems to listen.

https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116/idle-v6-181694/

https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116...issues-199592/

3 Threads started before this one, all with the exact problems listed. All with viable solutions, none of the paths were followed.

This explains alot:

So you might have to explain it a little bit.
This is now the 4th thread, with the same questions asked as before. Its been explained HOW to do it, and while I understand you are only 15 or whatever (how the hell are you driving anyways?) you still need a basic understanding of what you are doing first.

Well then. A good exercise in troubleshooting, I guess. But, it seems the problem is not the vehicle.....pfthh!
