harder than rebuilding your 22RE....
check out www.offroadsolutions.com for a 3.4L swap, or downey or NWOR for other v6 and v8 conversions..

Have you pulled the head yet? If the thing just needs the head even buying a NEW head its a weekens work and about $400=450 including gaskets, fluids etc.
Junk yard 22Re's are plentiful but always a chance that i has issues. A Repower is a LOT of work. The extra power is nice form the 4.3 but it is going to take you a few weeks and a LOT more money for adaptors and such. |
