22re Rebuild Complete
In August it will be a year since I bought my 88 4runner with a blown 22re for $750. I slowly redid most of the interior and saved $ to rebuild the motor. Finished the motor and put all the accessories yesterday and dropped it in today and it fired up on the third crank( forgot pressurize the fuel system or it would have fired on the first) and it runs great, just needs to be timed tomorrow and adjust the valves hot and it will run even better! Ran it at about 2K for 20 minutes to break in the new EB 268 cam and then took it for a short ride. The rebuild was a Engnbldr complete rebuild kit, EB RV Head, EB 268 Cam, and bored .20 over. Just want to thank everyone on yotatech for all of your help and engbldr for selling great products at a fair price, thanks everyone! I will post some pics tomorrow!

Same setup as me without the .20 over. I liked the EB kit and cam - good value.
I bought the oversize valves and had the seats cut locally, no RV head.
