1992 toyota pickup
im thinking about buying a 1992 toyota pickup 4x4 extended cab, it already has a lift and tires rims, but they say it needs a new engine, they are selling it for 2k.
i dont have alot of detail on the truck yet. What else should i know about it?
if i were to buy it i would put a 3.4L engine in it, but im not sure if i should do it.
do u guys think its a good deal?
let me know!! thanks for all your advice and tips.

If all the truck needs is a new engine, 2000 isn't such a bad price. If that's all it needs and the owner decided to put a new engine in, it could easily go for 4000+.
Find out if the truck runs and is driveable, and drive it if it is, just keep in mind the engine problem. Whatever accessories it has, use them- 4wd, a/c, etc. If those work, then maybe make an offer for 1500 and see where it goes. But if nothing else is wrong, IMHO, 2000 isn't a bad price, maybe the high end of what I'd pay for it, but still not really bad.
