that's killer looking. I always have wanted to take a chinook body (the small motorhome with the 22r engine) and mount it on a 4x4 chassis. Used to have a 78 chinook, but never got the time or money to do the swap.

ECT is used on the autos, it raises the shifts points for extra grunt.
Great build! Im surprized you stuck with a project like this.
Im not a big fan of the hurculined roof but to each his own.
are you going to build a flat deck?

Cool man. Its nice to see a fresh idea like yours. I like the rear window,
and think your bed idea is cool as hell. Hopefully you can pony up the $$
to make it happen soon.

Looks very nice!
I've made a couple windows out of 5/8" lexan (you do know that lexan isn't really that bullet resistant right? Not until you get up into the 3-4" thickness range. Been there tried that! Baseball bat, hammer, fist, knife, bb gun, cat, and even 22LR proof, yes. Guns with a caliber over 22LR proof, no), and the one thing about it that your are gonna HATE is how easily and irreparably it scratches and how it "fogs" after some time in the weather. I've tried using using those clear plastic peal off glass/lexan protector sheets like nascar, but you get tired of cutting to spec and replacing, and most of all spending money on it. Though if you come up with some kind of solution, let me know!
You know, I've been thinking about swapping a toyota dually axle under this 84... Anyone have info on these axles?

Very, very nice! I'm liking everything about it personally. I don't know why you'd Herculine a rooftop, but it's not bad looking at all....to me.
I really wish I had a Toyota dually.....4x4 even. Not full size, but mini like yours. Would make towing the trailer a thing of the past.

I did. I recently switched to a plexiglass window. Its not as strong but it doesnt scratch as easy and it looks nice way longer. And if you put a coat of wax on it the water beads of and it looks REALLY good
