Maaco did the paint but all other work was done by me so feel free to ask questions and comments or PM me for additional pictures and info.

The bed will be herculined when the wood dries out.

The day i got it:


After the camper was torn off:


As it stands now:
Rims:


Repainted black:


Then the truck had some welding done to it:


Was then primed and sealed with rustoleum paint:


Wood bed was made:


Fits around light bar and gas fill:


Then the truck was reassembled:

That's an.. interesting.. bed you've chosen. Other than that, not a thing I would've done different,
except maybe chromed the wheels.

Love the cab color and the headache rack... Awesome work and kudos to you for a unique original build

I have to admit, pending funds, I would have tried to throw a box on. However, flat decks have their purposes too! And this is an excellent concept!

I would love to build my own yota dually one day!

wow very beautiful not particularly fond of the rear window but otherwise very beautiful and definitely unique i especially love the bar behind the cab, the rims, and the bed

I like it. Like it alot. Only things I would have done differently is like benwahballs said put some tie downs on it and I would have left the bed full width to the outside of the wheels for the whole bed and not had the wheel well jut outs. And I would get a mudflap on the front of the rear tires as well. The rocks will get the cab. Other than that its great. Good to see someone puts some effort into these things.

Well.. Just that the deck bows out over the rear wheels. If it were mine, I would have gone with a tub fender or something. But, its not mine, its yours, which means you build it the way you want to.

needs a 1" rail, say 6-8" above the bed, all the way round 'cept for the tailgat.

i agree but make the the sides removable make it out of some box tube. make pockets for the sides to go down into it and then put locking pins through it so it makes it easy to take off.

Then put some of these on the top of the corners to make it rigid.

First off, awesome job! looks sweet for what it is! When its loaded down aren't the tires going to rub with the deck like that though?
