1988 22re sr5 pickup wont stay running? PLEASE HELP!
I've been on this site a million times trying to find out if anyone is having the same issues i'm having.. i have a 88 22re single cab pickup that will only stay running for 5-10 minutes then sputters out and dies. first i thought it was my fuel pump, replaced it and nothing. then i thought it was my maf sensor, replaced it, nothing. thought maybe ecu, replace it got a little better but still it just dies. i thought it was only running on the cold start injector until it clicks off and my injectors were plugged so i started it unplugged the cold start and it stays running for 5-10 minutes like usual and dies, i've had this problem for the last 6 months and am about to give up. i have been a yota lover for a long time but this truck is about to kill that. i've gone through every trouble shooting suggestion that i could find in the books and online, NEED HELP!!!

you did not say did you change the fuel filter??
Have you checked the fuel pressure??
not being smart but do you have enough gas in the tank?/
Could this be an electrical issue ??
Is the battery being kept fully charged
voltage to low ecu shuts down
coil gets hot engine shuts off
where do you live help could be close at hand??
