1986 4runner starter wiring

Hi,

New to this forum and I hope I don't come off as a complete idiot but I need help. Just put a motor back in my 86 4runner after setting for 2 years and can't recall the location of one set of wires. I think it goes to the starter because a old photo I took shows the harness going below the intake manifold. I know the one large black wire goes to the starter lug but can anyone tell me if a second group of 2 white and 1 red smaller gauge wires held together by a special copper ring terminal goes on the post as well. If not where does this ring(actually square shape) terminal go? Any help would greatly be appreciated!

Thanks,

Pacificinn

You're probably referring to the ground lug that is attached to one of the bolts holding the upper & lower intake together. The starter itself only has the 1 heavy gauge wire to the lug and a 2nd single wire with a plastic plug that controls the starter engagement.
