tailgate

how do i remove the wire loom going into the tailgate? i would imagine there must be a connector for it so you can replace the tailgate but where is it? i need to pull mine off so i can try to remove some broken glass

pull the tailgate open then on the left side where the loom goes into the tailgate you have to unscrew it and then follow it into the tailgate and disconnect it inside the tailgate.

RMA,

I pulled one at a u-pull it yard and since I could't find any plugs outside of the tailgate - I cut the wires.

I take it from what you're saying - that wasn't a bad idea? I'm talking in the case of a u-pull it yard and when ya take it home unplug it like you say.

I was hoping there'd be a plug outside the tailgate somehwere like the other 4 doors, but I could't find any.
