Slip yoke problems need help!

I finally got my lift kit installed, however in the process i found out that my front slip yoke doesnt slide. I unbolted the axle from the driveshaft and finished the installation. but i have tried to get the yoke to slide but have not had any success. Any thoughts on how i can get it to extend?

thanks
adam

My buddy had the same problem on his 84. He even took the front drive shaft to a shop and they couldn't get it to release. He purchased a used one and had it lengthened.
