New toy! Opinions?!

Picked this beast up the other day, '85 2-door runner. 37" boggers in back, 36" TSL radials up front, 5" suspension lift, rhino lined interior, nothing else notable.

Got gears and aussie locker for the rears on the way shortly. What else, judging from pics, would you guys recommend? Guy sold because "it didnt do good on trails." come to find out the stock 4.10 gears are still in it! some people....ha!

thanks guys!

nice yota. but i would try and get some same size tires fro it to be safe. im not sure if the tires being that close in size would hurt anything but you never know

Amen to that rich!! once the 5.29's are put in, maybe a week, the thrashing will begin!

I don't like two different sizes on it either yoder519, but I'm a bit strapped on cash for the time being!

Two different size tires...? That sounds extremely painful to your transfer case. I would fix that immediately before 4 wheeling. even if it were just an inch.

Yeah i'm not an expert but, I have heard that you really want your tires somewhat synchronized with the gears that are turning in your transfer case cuz they have to spin at the same rate. And having slightly odd tires might eat away at your gears. Any other opinions? Nice find by the way!

Sometimes a tire sold as a 36" may only measure a 35.4" for instance. Might check into that.
