Hi guys I thought id show you the new light bar I added to my TG front bumper I hope its ok to post this in the build up section . As you can see we had to make some simple brackets for it and the paint on my bumper was in serious need of attention so I gave it a shop of fresh Krylon . The light bar is from amazon and so far I'm extremely impressed with it . I got $65 into the whole project .

My experience with LED so far is that it doesn't throw down the road very far, is more like flood light than spot light. Let us know how well it works in the dark!

I hear ya I was skeptical myself but I rolled the dice anyway . I had it mocked up with some hose clamps last week and drove it around in the dark I was very impressed . I couldn't even tell when I would turn off and on the stock lights. Ill try to get a picture next time I'm out at night with it .

it might be worth it to pull the lens off and reseal it before you go in to water or rain. 1 drop on the LED circuit and poof you let the magic smoke out. I have learned the hard way!!!

I thought about doing that but I was afraid Id void any warranty it has or I might screw it up taking it apart myself . Im still on the fence but Ill probably end up doing it .

You could shrink wrap it. Use that window insulating sheet that shrinks with a hair dryer. Or maybe clear coat it.

Just a thought. I "MacGyver "a lot of things... They're not all brilliant but some work.
