S-shape helps correct angles at both ends and adjustable rod ends allow for fine tuning length:

I googled and this came up:

so you can buy a new one. The previous owner had this one on it, so I don't know who makes it. If you want it, $20. I will inspect it and look for any markings indicating who makes it. I had it on my 4runner with about 4.5" of lift and it worked pretty good. When I had the crossover steering put on, I kept it.
