Fuel Problem No cylinder #2 and #4
I'm having a problem with my 22RE. I got spark on all the plugs but the truck is only running on 2 cylinders #1 #3. The truck sounds like a bag of rocks. What arent #2 and #4 injectors not spraying please help I'm about to blow the truck up.

I had a cylinder go out with almost brand new injectors. It happened when I put 10% ethanol gas in the tank by accident. All the water and rust went to the fuel filter and it plugged one of the injectors.
If two of the cylinders aren't firing and you are getting spark to them then it has to be the injectors. They are either plugged, partially or completely, or the wiring harness has a short and they aren't being told to fire. I would check the harness first and if you don't find anything there then you need to pull the injectors and probably have them sent out to be cleaned. I would change the fuel filter at the same time.
I haven't looked but I think the FSM explains how to troubleshoot the harness.

try to listen to the injectors... use an automotive stethascope put it to the injector and listen to see if its working, clicking. Listen to a good injector to compare. That should let you know if the wiring is good and the injector is at fault. Have you checked the compresion yet? Its one of those basic things that often gets overlooked. You could have fuel and spark but no compression- no fire.

I know that the compression is good and i know the Injectors are in good working order. I need a wiring diagram for the 85 22re go i can make sure my ground are good.
